Public Price Promise by Cal Lutheran:

For any of your students that are admitted to one of the University of California institutions listed below we offer the Public Price Promise, a scholarship equal to the average cost of attendance of the UC schools included in the program. During the 2015-16 school year, eligible students received a $23,424 annual scholarship.

UC Irvine (added for the first time for students entering Fall 2016)
UC Berkeley
UC Davis
UCLA
UC San Diego
UC Santa Barbara

This program is in addition to the many merit scholarships we offer for everything from academic preparation to students talented in the visual and performing arts, as well as our Global Merit Scholarships for international students.


Additional Current Scholarships

Middle Class Scholarship via California Student Aid Commission (CSAC)

The Middle Class Scholarship lowers the college fees to up to 40% off statewide fees (tuition) at the UC and CSU campuses for families making under $100,000 that do not qualify for other financial aid programs and will provide a 10% tuition reduction for families making up to $150,000.  The Middle Class Scholarship tuition coverage is based on a sliding scale.  Students must filed the FAFSA at www.fafsa.gov or the California Dream Act Application at www.caldreamact.org no later than March 2nd priority deadline. Students must have a minimum of 2.0 financial aid GPA.

Cal Lutheran Guarantee Scholarship Program

The CLU Guarantee Scholarship was established to provide an opportunity for eligible students to attend CLU for the average cost of specific University of California institutions:
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)
University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB);
University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley)
University of California, Davis (UC Davis)
University of California, San Diego (UCSD)
If a student is admitted to any of these institutions, CLU will match the average cost of attendance!

WUE:  Residents of WICHE states can gain affordable access to programs, states avoid costly and unnecessary duplication of programs and facilities, and colleges and universities can devote their resources to improving the quality of their educational offerings.
